I wish I could find the ancient, magical receipt for it but I think that's long gone! But I do have a receipt of my SECOND copy of Yoshi's Island with the later model of the SNES in either 1997 or 1998 though(my mother actually found it a few years ago). So I might have gotten Yoshi's Island somewhere during Fall 1995. I also got Super Mario World and Super Mario All Stars around that time as well) and later in my life, I got the second DKC game. But I remember getting the first Donkey Kong Country FIRST(with Super Mario Kart, Ms Pac Man, and Spiderman Separation Anxiety. I know Donkey Kong Country 2 came out a little later after Yoshi's Island in 1995. Now I don't remember exactly WHEN I got the game. It was the first video game I've ever owned and it was the game that made me a Nintendo fan back at 1995. Anyways, the reason I'm so happy that this game is 20 years old because I had a LOOOOOONG childhood history with that game(also yes, long journal incoming ). Yup, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the SNES is officially 20 years old in the US! Well, it's already been 20 years old in Japan since August.
